About the company:

Atvisor.ai is an AI-based digital health platform that supports assistive technology
assessments and the decision-making process.

Used by assistive technology professionals and end-users – people with disabilities,
the elderly, and their family members, it helps in structuring the decision-making process,
providing relevant ideas for assistive technology solutions and enabling purchasing
of the selected products online.

How does it work?
usage begins with a simple search in the assistive technology catalog and
may proceed to a personalized functional profile-based search.
The end-user, independently, or supported by an assessor, defines his/her unique profile.

Following the creation of a personal profile, the user can then choose the personal goals that are central to him/her and for which activities assistive technology is required.
For each goal, the platform creates a personal report, containing product recommendations across different assistive technology categories, that are relevant to the profile and the activity mentioned.

The end-user can review the report, together with an assessor, and independently,
consult with family and friends and select the product he/she would like to buy.
Online purchasing can be integrated within the platform, alongside information about local shops, suppliers, and lending programs.

Relevant products can be shared, reviewed, or marked as favorites for continuous use, while information from searches, recommendations, and purchases is stored both in the personal archive of the end user and that of the assessor.
This enables follow-up and long-term support, as well as re-initiation of further personalized assistive technology searches according to changes in user condition and goals.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly technical and independent Backend Python Developer.
The right candidate will be able to solve moderate technical problems using varying
technologies. This role will be a key contributor to the code base for products,
creating new code and refactoring existing code to continually improve the
product’s adherence to market requirements, architectural requirements, and product requirements.

The employment framework will be 50% position.
In addition, might be some Support hours when needed – in front of arranged SLA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Collaborating with management, team, and customers to identify end-user
  requirements and specifications.
• Designing algorithms and workflows to create new software programs and systems.
• Testing and deploying programs and applications.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
• Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
• Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
• Collaborate in the process of conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications, frameworks, or other software components.
• Provide a development solution to correct problems when necessary
  (In front arranged SLA).

Job Requirements:

Must:

• Good level of English: B1 (Speaking and writing).
• At least 3+ years’ experience with designing and developing performant
  and highly available API endpoints, methods, and models using modern.
• At least 3+ years of development experience with Python (Django).
• 2+ experience with data modeling and design using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• At least 1+ years’ experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud platforms.
• Modern security design principles, threats & preventive implementations.
• Experience with the Git version control system

Nice to have: 

• Any experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Big advantage.
• Any frontend experience in designing & developing the user interface
  using Angular 10.
