About the project:
Yael group is an Israeli IT company founded in 1963 and specializes in providing businesses with technological solutions, including the implementation and management of broad projects that integrate knowledge and experience across a variety of technological fields – cloud, digital, CRM, ERP, digital asset management and archiving, data, and analytics, information security, technological solutions for the finance industry, integrations, and others.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is motivated, skilled, and proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This DevOps position is related to our project at the Israeli Innovation Authority which offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and innovation. The role is pivotal in driving the seamless integration of development and operational processes, ensuring that deployments are efficient, reliable, and aligned with best practices. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to groundbreaking projects that impact the tech ecosystem in Israel and beyond.
What you’ll do:
- Manage Git repositories and development team workflows
- Create and maintain task tracking and sprint management processes
- Handle deployment processes using the DevOps Center
- Oversee sandbox refreshes and release coordination
- Manage code merges and conflict resolution
- Write automation scripts for deployments and environment management
What you’ll need:
MUST:
- Experience: 3+ years of Salesforce development with Git and deployment tools
- Advanced Git expertise (branching, merging, rebasing, hooks)
- Strong GitHub knowledge (Actions, Permissions, Security, Plugins)
- Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC)
- Proficiency with Salesforce DevOps Center
- Experience with Salesforce DX and metadata API
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- English level: B1+
Nice to have:
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Shell scripting
- Additional Salesforce certifications
- PowerShell knowledge
- Experience with other deployment tools (Gearset/Copado)
