About the project:
Archidata Services is a New York City firm that provides 3D scanning and computer-aided design services for architecture, engineering, and construction. We specialize in providing accurate and reliable as-built building surveys, 3D laser scanning, Revit modeling (BIM), and AutoCAD drafting.
We are on the cutting edge of architectural technology, using the most up-to-date and accurate measurement instruments and software.
Our clients include architects, developers, public agencies, and institutions throughout NYC and the Tri-State area. We have 33 years of technical experience and are committed to delivering the highest quality product of utmost integrity.

About the role:
At first, we do laser scanning of the object, transfer it to the Architects and they create Revit models or AutoCAD drafts (as-built joints). As an Architectural Revit/CAD Drafter you will work independently performing projects from small apartments (1 bedroom apartments) to entire buildings. Though you will have general meetings with a team twice a week, and help each other with projects.
What you’ll do :
- Developing detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- An understanding of Revit modeling and working with point cloud data.
- Creating/developing in-house families.
- Creating plans, sections & elevations.
- Experience working to project deadlines.
What you’ll need:
Must:
- Degree in Architectural Technology.
- Minimum 2 years of drafting experience or proficiency in the use of computer-aided drafting (CAD) programs (AutoCAD)
- Good drafting experience in Revit
- Experience with 3D laser scanning data/point cloud modeling is required.
- Manage a QA/QC internal process that ensures successful project execution.
- English level: B1+

You will have a three-step interview, which includes a 30 min HR interview,
a technical interview with Archidata CEO Ron, and a technical task.
1. HR Interview.
Here we want to get to know you, hear about what you’re interested in, and learn about what you hope to do in the future. Our HR manager Tetiana will tell you about us and the project, answer your questions, and talk about company benefits.
2. Technical interview.
You’ll have a technical interview in English with Archidata CEO Ron, where you’ll be asked to show some of your works and to tell about your technical experience.
3. Technical Task.
You’ll get a technical task with sometimes up to a week-long period for its solving (it depends on the task). All the instructions and the task itself you’ll receive during your technical interview.
