About the project:

Novisign believes digital signage was meant to be easy to use.

Using NoviSign’s comprehensive web-based digital signage software online studio, you can
create beautiful digital signage. With over +20 drag-and-drop widgets to choose from, you can
quickly design and manage engaging content that features live social media streams, data-driven polls, fun interactive games, and media-rich zones that feature videos, RSS feeds, HD  images, scrolling text, weather, and more!

NoviSign’s Digital Signage Software is sold as Software as a Service (SaaS) that enables the
easy management of dynamic digital signage campaigns, from the cloud to IP-based digital
signs anywhere in the world. From any PC, you can broadcast targeted messages to any
number of signs at unlimited locations in real time.

NoviSign is a privately held digital signage software company based outside of Tel Aviv, Israel with field sales offices in Japan, Portugal, France, Germany, and the United States.

About the role:

Novisign – a leader in the Digital Signage industry is hiring! Join us as a Full Stack Team Leader, driving Novisign’s growth and success. Novisign led a team of 5 skilled engineers across Israel and Ukraine, with an office in Kfar Saba, Israel.

What you’ll do:

  • Leading team of Backend (Java) and Frontend (Angular) engineers.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner for project planning.
  • Ensure high-quality, timely project delivery with the QA team.
  • Foster technical excellence through code reviews and mentorship.
  • Devise development progress plans for your team of developers.

What you’ll need:

  • English – B1+.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in leading development teams.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Java backend and frontend (advantage: Angular.)
  • Experience working with RDBs, like MySQL, and Postgres.
  • In-depth knowledge of code testing methodology (unit tests, integration tests).
  • Experience with containerized environments and micro-services
    (i.e. Docker / Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD systems, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Excellent design capabilities: understanding requirements, architectural considerations, and ability to design robust solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The roles require 40-50% hands-on.
  • The role involves working from our office in Kfar Saba, Israel.

You will have a three-step interview, which includes a 15-minute pre-screening call with NoviSign’s VP R&D, a 30-minute Interview with NoviSign’s CTO (task review), and last – on-site interview with NoviSign’s VP R&D and CEO (1.5 hours).

1. Pre-screening call with NoviSign’s VP R&D( 15 min):
Here we want to get to know you, hear about what you’re interested in, and learn about what you hope to do in the future. We’ll also tell you about us and the project, answer your questions, and talk about company benefits.

2. Home assessment task
You will receive a task that you can complete in your own time
The assignment must be submitted within a few days. (2-5 days)
In exceptional cases, it will be possible to submit within 7 days.

3. Online review of task with NoviSign’s VP R&D and CTO (30 min):
We will go over the task you received together, examine the code, and your way of thinking. Additional technical questions may be asked.

4. On-site interview with NoviSign’s VP R&D and CEO (1.5 h):
In the last step, we will tell you a little about the company and get to know you more deeply, we will understand together how you fit into the team and the company
