Job Description

For a startup company elevating the way video live streaming is done, we
need a lead Software developer who likes challenges

The leader will have vast room for self-development, ability to do system
design and implementation
We deal with Cloud & Mobile technologies, write in Java, and interact with
different environments

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and
• debugging.
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
• Troubleshoot problems with the software.
• Writing and implementing efficient and reusable code in Java.
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve the legacy applications.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.
• Provide training and support to internal teams.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness
• of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Job Requirements

Must

• Java backend engineer with at least 3 years experience.
• Familiar with Spring or Vert.x, MySQL, knowledgeable with architecture and microservices.
• Technical leader with hands-on experience working in an Agile environment, ability to get into an existing code and evolve where needed.
• Experience in production scale systems requiring high reliability.
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS services, DevOps, must know to utilize cloud resources efficiently.
• B.Sc. in computer science/engineering from a distinguished university.
• Passionate, autodidact and self-worker, communicative.

Nice to Have

• Experience implementing algorithms and statistical computations.
• Familiarity with live streaming protocols (SRT, RTMP), FFMPEG, NVIDIA GPU on a cloud, and video encoding (H264/HEVC).
• Knowledge in IT/telecommunication, real-time packets flow in products as routers/Wi-Fi.
