About the company:

Shift is a cloud–based management service for educational and business institutions.

The system builds tracks on the basis of passenger requirements and needs.
Managing track changes, real-time monitoring of the trip, alerts on the way, and navigation based on route information are just a top of the services we are providing
to our customers.

We are looking for self-managed and self-motivated professionals to join our creative team. Become a member of a successful scrum team and deliver the maximum value to the end user at each sprint.

You will actively participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning, get feedback from businesses and create new and valuable features using the latest technologies.

Job Description:

We are seeking a .NET developer responsible for building .NET applications using C#.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design
and quality products are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of .NET Technologies such as .NET Core, Web API, and C#.
  • 3+ years experience of work in high-loaded projects with 50k+ users.
  • Strong experience in Entity Framework (Core).
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Principles.
  • Must have a working knowledge of LINQ, Entity Framework, and Web Services.
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Understanding of database technologies.
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks.
  • A knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

You will have a one-step interview, which includes a combined interview:
A 20 minutes min HR interview and a 40-minute personal and technical interview
with Shift’s R&D Director.

  • A preliminary test:
    Before interviews, you’ll be given a short technical test. Each question is timed. The estimated test duration is 30 minutes, but it can last up to 45 minutes.
  •  HR & R&D Manager interview:
    Here Shift’s R&D Manager and HRM Tetiana want to get to know you, hear about what you’re interested in, and learn about what you hope to do
    in the future.
    We’ll also tell you about us and the project, answer your questions and talk
    about company benefits.
    The interview will be combined, wherein the first part it will be done in front of the HR Manager and the second, more technical part it will be done in front of the Shift’s R&D Director.
