RGE is a major content company in Israel, which owns several television channels. (Mainly leading Sports channels and kids’ channels). The company is now working on an OTT TV Service on 7 different platforms.

Job Description:

RGE is looking for an operation and support engineer to play a central role in the technological system. The position allows learning and entry into the Internet television broadcasting field (OTT / IPTV).

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the availability and health of the service.
• Monitoring and preventing service failures, proactive care, and systems improvement.
• Customer fault support (Tier 3).
• Managing and distributing software versions.
• Fault management with development, engineering, and vendors.
• Definition and monitoring of quality indicators.
• Planning and implementing changes and implementing new technologies.

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience in production systems operation (production).
• Knowledge of communications networks and cloud technologies.
• Experience with video streaming technologies.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools.
• Independent learning ability.
