Software Architect

Job Description:

The role entails active participation / leadership in architecture consulting and development of enterprise solutions. If you are team player and adherent of efficient architecture and highly professional communication with clients in global environment – we are waiting for you!

As part of the job you will be required to:

• Gather, analysis and document project architecture requirements and constraints from stakeholders.
• Conduct software prototyping (POCs), including technology research and evaluation.
• Design, document and present architecture proposals / decisions to stakeholders and dev team.
• Assist BAs and PM in project roadmap definition and estimation.
• Analyze and improve technical and operational efficiency / quality of the project.
• Enforce project compliance to processes defined by company and clients.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience working in IT company / department.
• Deep understanding of modern application design principles.
• Proficient experience in developing Java web and distributed applications(J2EE or Spring).
• Hands-on experience with any of the public cloud platforms (Amazon,Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with relational and No-SQL storage platforms.
• Experience with different integration and deployment models (Hosted, Hybrid Cloud, IaaS, PaaS).
• Experience in domain / database UML modeling.
• Ability and wish to develop technical documentation and presentations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive goal orientation and team player.
• Advanced reading / speaking / writing English.
• Good understanding of Latvian and Russian.
