Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Web Development Teacher for an online Bootcamp. The Teacher will be part of Pillar team, and train and educate students who want to launch their careers as programming experts.

Position Scope:
Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare course materials, lectures, presentations and demonstrations.
  • Prepare daily assignments that will challenge students to think and develop independent programmers.
  • Prepare exams to examine the progress and knowledge of the students.
  • Work with program coordinators and consultants to ensure initiatives are being met.

Job Requirements:

Must-haves:

  • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of fundamentals of computer science.
  • Experience with creating projects for junior students.
  • Familiar of contemporary technologies and platforms.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking for ways of teaching programming.
  • English level – B1+.
  • Outstanding communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with online teaching.
  • Experience with Server-side (backend) using Node.js or PHP.

You will have a two-step interview, which includes a 45 min interview with a
Bootcamp Mentor and a GM (General Manager) and a 30 min personal interview
with Nativ, Pillar Development Manager.

  • A brief preliminary test:
    Before interviews, you’ll be given a short technical test. Each question is timed. The estimated test duration is 30 minutes, but it can last up to 45 minutes.
  • A Bootcamp Mentor and GM interview:
    Here we want to get to know you, hear about what you’re interested in, and learn about what you hope to do in the future. We’ll also tell you about us and the project, answer your questions, and understand your technical work experience.
  • A personal interview with a Pillar Development Manager:
    We will coordinate a personal interview with our Development Manager.
    During the interview, we will get to know each other better, understand your
    historical work experience and how you can contribute to our Bootcamp activity.
