About the project:
Stratos is a startup Company that developing a platform that automates the generation and
evolution of enterprise – Grade Kubernetes-Driven systems.
Our Technology enables Organizations to build, run and deploy a fully functional Kubernetes system within minutes and allow Organizations to focus on injecting business code into an auto-generated Kubernetes system.

About the role:
We are looking for a skilled devOps Engineer to design and develop our
cloud automation infrastructure.
You will report directly to Stratos’s CTO and be an integral part of efforts to design,
create and develop our core grade Kubernetes-Driven systems.
What you’ll do:
- Develop Stratos core DevOps automation infrastructure.
- Create enterprise grade Kubernetes Systems.
- Design and develop canonic plugins for various components like: MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Node, Nginx, Zookeeper and ELK.
- Design and develop auto-generated Kubernetes Systems.
What you’ll need:
Must:
- Good level of English: B2+ (speaking and writing).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
- Brilliant, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
- Vast experience in Kubernetes and Docker in development and production systems
(at least 1-year experience in Kubernetes). - Experienced in cloud technologies, specifically (at least 1-year experience in AWS).
- Experienced in Terraform (at least 1-year experience).
- Experienced in Helm (1-year experience).
- Experienced with components mentioned in the previous section (at least 2 of them).
- Experienced in Observability (logging, monitoring, tracing).
- A team player and a people person.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Python or other development languages.
- Experienced with CI/CD.

SCREENING PROCCESS

You will have a two-step interview, which includes a 30 min HR and GM (General Manager) interview and a combined (technical & personal) interview.
- A brief preliminary test:
Before interviews, you’ll be given a short technical test. Each question is timed. The estimated test duration is 12 minutes, but it can last up to 20 minutes. - HR and GM Interview:
Here we want to get to know you, hear about what you’re interested in, and learn about what you hope to do in the future. We’ll also tell you about us and the project, answer your questions, and talk about company benefits. - Technical & Personal interview:
If you were successful during the previous steps, you’d receive a technical home task. In this case study, you are invited to build AWS EKS system using Terraform. Please record your time and let us know how long it took at the end of the study.
